- Similar to cast iron, carbon steel needs very little daily maintenance. Simply rinse, heat, and re-oil.
- Gently clean the surface using warm water and a rag or brush with soft bristles. Do not use a steel scrubber to clean.
- Dry the surface with a clean towel.
- Place on stove top and turn heat to low to remove any remaining moisture.
- Once fully dried, turn off heat and coat the surface evenly with a thin layer of olive oil, avocado oil, or other.
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Wipe down after use to prevent rust.
